What hot tub removal involves
A hot tub is heavy, bulky and often sitting somewhere awkward: on a raised deck, behind a fence, or at the end of a narrow side yard. Some tubs can come out in one piece. Many can't fit through the gate or down the steps, so we cut them apart on site and carry the sections out.
Once it's disconnected and drained, the heavy work is ours. We handle the take-down, the carrying, the loading, the haul and the disposal fees, then sweep up the area where the tub sat. Dominic works jobs himself alongside his crew.
We remove hot tubs across Monmouth, Mercer, Middlesex, Ocean and Burlington counties, from Millstone and Freehold to Old Bridge and Hightstown.
Getting ready before we arrive
A few steps are yours before removal day, and they keep the job safe.
That's it. Nothing needs to be dragged to the driveway or curb.
- Have the power shut off and the tub disconnected by a licensed electrician. We don't do electrical work, so it needs to be fully disconnected before we get there.
- Drain it completely a day or two ahead. Water left in the shell adds a lot of weight and makes a mess.
- Take spa chemicals like chlorine and bromine out of the area. We can't haul chemicals.
- Unlock the gate and let us know the best way into the yard.
How the job works
Text us a few photos of the tub and the path from it to the driveway or street. Dominic often quotes from photos. If you'd rather have someone look in person, book a free estimate online with no obligation.
Once the tub is disconnected and drained, same-day and next-day openings are often available. One hot tub customer was on the schedule for the next day. Call or text early for the best chance.
On removal day we text you before we arrive, take the tub apart if it needs it, load everything and sweep up. We sort what we haul: metal is recycled whenever possible, and the rest goes to a licensed New Jersey facility. What we take, and what we can't
Along with the tub, we can take the cover, steps and cover lifter, plus other outdoor items while we're there, like old patio furniture, planters or yard debris. Just include them in your photos so they're part of the price. If the deck around the tub is coming out too, we can quote both as one job.

Hot tub removal is priced per job, not per truckload. What moves the price is the size of the tub, whether it can go out whole or has to be cut apart, and how hard the path out is. A tub on a ground-level patio next to the driveway is a simpler job than one on a raised deck behind a narrow gate at the end of a long carry. Extra items, like a deck or patio furniture, add to it. The price we quote is the price you pay, with no hidden fees, and it covers take-down, carrying, loading, hauling, disposal and sweep-up. If you add something on the day, you'll hear the new price before it goes on the truck.
