Furniture we haul away
If it's furniture and it's leaving your home, we can usually take it. That means a single piece or a whole room, from a first-floor living room to a finished basement or an upstairs bedroom.
We can't take hazardous materials: paint, chemicals, motor oil, propane tanks, asbestos or medical waste. Old paint cans like to hide in hutch cabinets and dresser drawers, so give those a quick look. Not sure about something? Text us a photo.

How a furniture pickup works
We're an NJ A-901 licensed hauler, registered with the NJDEP (#0042737) and fully insured. The A-901 is New Jersey's license for companies that haul waste for pay, and it includes a state background investigation.

- Pick a time. Same-day and next-day openings are often available. Call or text early for the best chance.
- We text you before we arrive.
- We do all the lifting. Nothing needs to go to the curb. We carry each piece out from wherever it is and take care inside your home on the way.
- We sweep up before we leave.
Getting ready for pickup day
You don't need to move anything. A few small steps help the day go smoothly:
- Pull anything you're keeping out of drawers, shelves and cabinets. If the hutch still holds the good dishes, pack those first.
- Make it clear what stays and what goes. A sticky note on each piece works well, especially when family members are keeping certain items.
- Mention stairs, tight hallways or long carries when you send photos, so your quote reflects the real job.
- Found more to get rid of? You can add it on the day. We'll tell you the new price before anything else goes on the truck.
Where your old furniture goes
We sort what we haul away. Whenever possible, furniture in good shape is donated and metal is recycled. Whatever can't be reused goes to a licensed New Jersey facility.

How pricing works for furniture removal
Furniture removal is priced per job, not per truckload. The biggest factors are how many pieces are going, how big they are, and how hard they are to reach. A loveseat in a first-floor den is a different job from a sectional coming up basement stairs or a dresser carried down from a third-floor bedroom through a narrow hallway. Mattresses cost more to dispose of legally, so they're figured into the price. As Dominic puts it, half a truck carried down six flights of stairs costs more than a full truck already sitting in the driveway. Every price includes all lifting and loading, carrying from anywhere on the property, hauling and disposal fees, donation and recycling drop-offs, and sweep-up.
